10 Days Imperial and desert Tour in Morocco

Discover the best of Morocco with this 10-day loop, featuring the imperial cities of Rabat, Meknes, Fez, and Marrakesh, as well as several days in the desert.
You’ll navigate the streets of ancient medinas, ride a camel over shifting sands in the Sahara, explore mud-brick cities in desert towns, and cross the high rocky peaks of the Atlas Mountains.
Day 1: Arrival at Casablanca Airport
Once you arrive at Casablanca Airport, you will be greeted by our professional driver, and he would take you to your Hotel, to have some rest and relaxation.

Day 2: Casablanca City Tour
After your breakfast, you start your tour with the city of Casablanca, the economic engine town of Morocco.
This sightseeing tour starts with the famous landmark in Casablanca. It is named Hassan II mosque, located on the Atlantic coast, is the second-biggest mosque in the world. Visit of mosque will let you to admire the charming views of the tallest minaret, architectural Moroccan design and sea. You proceed to Square Mohammed V, which is characterized by French-style buildings that merge modern design with authentic touch.
You pass by Mohamed V Avenue, arriving to the place des Nations Unites, which is a meeting point of two facets, namely the old and new Medina. Next, you walk through the old Medina, which is a symbol of the authenticity and antique Moroccan heritage, with its narrow lanes. You explore Parc de la Ligue Arabe, which is an enormous stunning garden lined with palm trees, water features, Café terraces.

Day 3: Casablanca- Rabat- Meknes- Volubilis – Fes
After breakfast, you head to Rabat, which is the capital of Morocco, located on the Atlantic coast. Once you arrive, you will have a guided tour to popular monuments of Rabat. Begin with the Hassan tower with its incomplete minaret, the monumental marble Mausoleums of Mohamed V and Hassan II, which are decorated with charming carved plaster and patterned Zellij.
Before going to take lunch at leisure, you visit the breathtaking Kasbah of Oudaya which was built during Almohad dynasty.
Continue your guided expedition on to the next Imperial City Meknes, the one- time capital of Moulay Ismaël, his royal stables there once housed 12,000 horses!! Founded in the 9th century by the Zenata Berbers, you have time to visit the Bab el Mansour.
From here you continue to Volubilis, with its impressive Roman ruins and mosaics which are particularly well preserved. After some time, you will head to the famous city of Fez to relax and have free night.

Day 4: Fes City Tour
A full day to explore this magnificent city, it is one of the best living examples of a medieval Arab city and the religious capital of the Kingdom of Morocco.
You take in the Karaouine mosque and Medersa whilst also experiencing the hustle and bustle of everyday life in the labyrinth of souks and tanneries.
The tour includes photo stops at the imposing gate of Bab Boujloud, the ancient ramparts, the splendid fountain at Place Nejjarine and the beautiful front entrance to the Royal Palace. A light lunch is served in a local restaurant. You return to your hotel for overnight stay at the end of the afternoon.

Day 5: Fez – Azrou- Ifrane – Midelt – Merzouga
After your breakfast in the hotel Get ready for long Journey to Merzouga, travel via the Cedar forest of the Middle Atlas Mountains, Azrou and Ifrane. You may have stop in Ifrane (named the Switzerland of Morocco), then continue your trip to Midelt, you will have lunch break at the traditional restaurant in Midelt, after your rest continue your way to Merzouga across the pass of Tizi N’talghamt you will pass through, Aoufous and the valley of Ziz where you will have stop for a panoramic view of oasis of Aoufous in the Tafilalte region, Errachidia then continue via Erfoud which is an oasis town, continue your way to Merzouga, Upon arrival you will ride your camel in order to trek through red dunes of Merzouga on the way to Erg Chebi for overnight, upon arrival you will be welcomed with a cup of mint tea and you will spend the night in luxury nomad camp.
Moreover, you will enjoy the cooked delicious meal of Tagine, beside the warmth of the fireside, listening to the Drum Party and story swapping, tales of nomad life
Dinner & Overnight in Belle Etoile Bivouac or similar in Merzouga
Day 6: Merzouga- Dades Boumalne
Get up early to catch the supernatural sunrise, after then enjoy your Moroccan breakfast. Afterwards, drive along the popular road of thousand Kasbahs, passing by the small Berber town Tinghir.
Stop for a walking through Todra Gorge, where the ancient amazighin villages, fantastic Ksours and green oases provide spectacular views. stop to relax and enjoy your lunch at the local restaurant coffee shop.
Continue your way to Dades Boumalne for overnight

Day 7: Dades Boumalne – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Breakfast in the Hotel, then Head to the Pearl of the Moroccan south Marrakesh via the pass of Tizi-Chika, along the road you will admire the beautiful views of Atlas Mountains as well as the stops for taking photos.
Upon arrival enjoy you lunch meal in typical restaurant, then transfer to your hotel to rest

Day 8: Marrakech The Pearl of South
After breakfast in the hotel begin your day with guided tour of the city Marrakesh. This tour will include the top attractions such as Bahia Palace, Koutoubia Mosque, Majorelle Garden, Secret Garden.
Then you will continue your tour to the old Medina and its popular souks. Moreover, you will visit the best famous place, which is Jamaa El Fna Square. It is full of entertainers and comedians, storytellers, snake charmers, water sellers, orange juice stalls. Before ending the tour, you have choice to eat your dinner in the Square Jamaa El Fna.

Day 9: Marrakech optional activities
